We are proud to share with our community an achievement that fills us with enthusiasm: our Magys Drive project won third place at Start Cup Toscana 2025, the competition that rewards the best entrepreneurial ideas born from regional university research.The award ceremony took place on October 23 at the Le Benedettine Conference Center of the University of Pisa, among startups, researchers, and brilliant minds representing the future of innovation in Tuscany.
Receiving this recognition is confirmation of the impact our solution aims to bring to the industrial sector, and it motivates us to keep improving. Magnetic technology and versatility: the heart of Magys Drive.
Our project comes from the idea of applying magnetic technology to mechanical reducers for industrial robotics, with the goal of increasing energy efficiency, reducing consumption and wear, and offering greater flexibility to production businesses that see sustainable innovation as a priority.
We are convinced that our solution can help make industry smarter and ready to face the challenges of the transition towards Industry 5.0.An award that values collaboration and multi disciplinarity Start Cup Toscana gave us the opportunity to show how fundamental collaboration between university, research, and business truly is.
